Dental bridges are a reliable and effective solution for replacing one or more missing teeth, helping to restore both function and aesthetics to your smile. Our dentists and team are experienced in designing and placing custom dental bridges that seamlessly fill gaps caused by missing teeth. A dental bridge is anchored in place by the adjacent teeth or dental implants, providing a stable and natural-looking replacement.
The Dental Bridge Process
The process of getting a dental bridge typically involves two appointments at Creekside Dental. During the first visit, Dr. Bennett Packard, Dr. Mark Walker and Dr. Matthew Dunn will prepare the teeth adjacent to the gap, known as abutment teeth, by removing a small amount of enamel to create space for the crowns that will hold the bridge in place. Impressions of your teeth are then taken to ensure the bridge is custom-made to fit perfectly. A temporary bridge is placed to protect the prepared teeth while your permanent bridge is being crafted in a dental laboratory.
At your second appointment, your custom-made bridge is carefully fitted and adjusted to ensure a comfortable bite and natural appearance. We will bond the bridge to the abutment teeth, ensuring it is securely anchored and functions like your natural teeth.Â
